Alot of people wonder where the name "The Prissy Princess" came from why didn't we choose other names. Princess, came about first off because of the Owners, belief that the salon environment should be a place that all could come together in a peaceful environment. Her fondest memories began in the hair salon as a young child, as they do as a young children for many young girls.

This all coralates with the ideas that girls are all princess and should be treated as so. "Alot of times as women grow up i think that we forget how our mother worked so hard to get our hair trained, how much time and money, they invested into having us look and feel good about ourselves. We look older and we lose that Prissyness, we lose it. We forget what to look for in a hairstylist , and healthy hair is no longer a concern. we just want to look cute ! No matter our social class we are all Princesses and should act that way. That's the way way we were raised if not by our mother it was our grandmother, if not our grandmother, it was someother women who took us and showed us how we should behave.

I was raised In Englewood, Nj, and Supply, NC, and Did all my Schooling In wilmington , Nc , So i have had the chance to see and experience alot of salons. I feel this experience has molded me and shown me the importance of keeping hair healthy, a clean scalp makes for a happy heart!
