As soon as I met Tameeka I knew I was in good hands. I've been in situations before with stylists who simply DO NOT know how to cut kinky-curly so that it has a shape that works for the client. Upon speaking with Tameeka, I knew this would not be the case. She treated me like a friend and talked to me very frankly about everything, so I knew she could be trusted. I walked out of there loving my new haircut knowing I had someone I could trust with my hair in its natural state! Finally! She is skilled, professional and friendly, all at once. I was comfortable the whole time and I would absolutely recommend friends to her in the future.

I have tried a number of "curly hair" specialty salons and Tameeka is the first stylist to do my hair in a way that I look fab! I was planning to visit another salon during my next visit to NYC but I've decided that I am going to make time to see Tameeka every six weeks. I don't even live in NYC - Tameeka is THAT good. Tameeka listens and explains well. She is encouraging and takes the fear of a frizzy future out of mind by explaining how to create a manageable, beautiful head of curly locks without emotional stress. I absolutely love Tameeka and would highly recommend that every curly head woman start with her. Once you visit Tameeka, you won't want to go anywhere else!
