Miss Jessie's Stretch Silkening Creme

by Michelle
(Atlanta, GA, US)

My hair has been dry and poofy and lacking shine since I have been an adult (I'm 31 yrs old). I could never find a product that locked moisture in my hair while givinig it shine and hold. That is until I came across Miss Jessie's products. I had a strand test done on my hair and found that Miss Jessie's Stretch Silkening Creme is what worked best for me. It gives me shine, light hold, and moisture.

I can get many different hair styles by just dampening my hair, applying the product, then braiding, twisting, or finger combing my hair out and letting it dry. I recommend this product to any one with naturally curly hair.

This is my hair care regime:

Night before I wash hair, I apply essential oils mixture to my scalp and cover with plastic cap while I sleep.

Next day:

Apply undiluted naturally organic shampoo to hair while it is still dry (this allows the shampoo to break up the oil and remove it better than if the hair is wet).

Next wash hair like normal

  • Apply naturlly organic rinse-out conditioner, deep condition by covering hair with plastic cap and sit under hooded dryer for 30 minutes.

  • Rinse conditioner out of hair with lukewarm water, end with a cold water rinse.

  • While hair is still damp, apply Miss Jessie's product. If curls are not defined enough, add cool water to hair with a stray bottle.

  • Do one of the following after applying product:

Finger comb hair, braid or 2 strand twist. Once hair is dried you can wear as is or untwist or unbraid hair. You will have waves and curls that are moistured, defined, and shiny.

To keep curls looking fabulous be sure to keep ends trimmed. I have mine trimmed every 4 months.
