Well, not too much of a story teller but here goes.

I permed my hair for years from the age of 13ish or so and finally cut it all out back in November of 2007....I was transitioning and couldn't take it anymore so I went to the office bathroom and cut off all the perm; flushed it down the toilet and I've been free ever since.

So, here begins my natural hair journey. I tried a lot of products, researched on how to take care of my hair and CurlyHairSalon.com has been an informative site for me. I love all of the hair tips and style suggestions that I have read in my weekly newsletter.

My regimen is basically a conditioner-wash, very little shampoo at the root to remove any hair gel residues, leave a touch of conditioner in for softness (I'm in love with Hydralycious by Herbal Essences). And a spot of Eco-gel or Kinky-Curly for curl definition....I never use a dryer; I just wash and let it air dry.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
