Hiikuss is a modern and stylish salon based in Camberwell, South London. Launched in 2004 by Chris Ahiaku, it is well known for its superior customer service, friendly staff and high standard of personal hair care. With ongoing training, Hiikuss is constantly evolving in an effort to raise standards even higher.

The salon is set back from the main road in a pedestrianised area, creating a relaxing environment for clients as they arrive. The inviting glass-fronted entrance shows off an unusual lighting effect and a modern reception area, Flat screen monitors and an audio system keep clients entertained with a selection of television, films and soothing background music.

The salon has a happy, easygoing atmosphere As a result, clients travel from all over the UK.

The staff at Hiikuss is diverse, allowing them to cater to a wide range of hair types, ethnicities and nationalities.

With over 40 years of hairdressing experience between them, the team is well equipped and each member specialises in different styling techniques. These include cutting, chemical straightening, colouring, plaiting and extensions.

Hiikus have come to understand the need for a particular client who has naturally curly hair but is unable to manage it. They have now just recently introduced Mixed chicks, which is a specialist product for clients with naturally curly hair. Hiikus are now able to treat clients with frizzy, unmanageable, tough hard hair to comb through, which is an answer to most Mixedrace, Asian, Latino or and beautiful mixture of origin that their client may be apart of. Mixed chicks is a strong and successful product which is proving to be a leader in the salon industry.

The Hiikuss philosophy is that ‘the client is king (or queen). In fact, they believe that building a relationship with clients is the most important factor in growing and improving the business.
