I took a trip to Curltopia on Oct. 1, 2011, this was one of the best trips I had taken to a salon in awhile. The atmosphere in the salon was very peaceful. The ladies were really nice, they made sure I was comfortable. My stylist was Stacy,she really knew what she was doing. She told me about the products she was using and how to do them. I felt like she cared about my hair and concerns. She gave me a wash and go which is a style that I am still rocking and it has been 2 weeks. The style is very easy to take care of. If you can't get to Stacy that is fine because all the ladies seemed to know their stuff. Remember you get what you pay for. I am very happy.

Tas at Curltopia is wonderful! by: Tajuannia
Googling for someone to care for natural hair led me to Tas. I went in for the big Chop with Tas and my experience was GREAT! The atmosphere and everyone I encountered were pleasant. He made me feel comfortable by talking me through each step (from shampoo to styling). He made suggestions as to what products would suite my curl type. When I walked out the door I felt empowered to care for my hair. I will be returning fo a reshape and highlights. If you are in transition from permed to natural go see Tas!

My experience with Curltopia has been fantastic. Everyone is always so pleasant and welcoming. Taylor is an AWESOME colorist. Picture this...On my first visit, I arrived with a natural black afro colored with red henna (henna you could barely see, due to my natural dark hair color), and I wanted to do an all-over color in the light brown family with golden highlights. What planet was I on? I needed a miracle worker and I got one in Taylor. Any fears I had were layed to rest after sitting in her chair. She's confident and she knows how to mix -n- match color to bring you exactly what you ask for and then some! She took the time to make sure everything was just right. The products used by Curltopia are top of the line and they make a big difference in the end result. The color and highlights came out BEAUTIFULLY. I got so many compliments. So, if you are looking for a great salon Curltopia is THE place!!!
