Natural Hair Products - Carols Daughter

There are quite a few African American products on the market that cater to varying curly hair textures. But one of the most popular products are those from Carol's Daughter – a brand receiving huge accolades!

I've heard rave reviews about the products but was hesitant since most African American black hair care products are greasy and leave the hair feeling heavy. But I do have to say these products definitely stand out against the other brands. The products I particularly love are Carols Daughter Rosemary Mint Herbal Shampoo for Dry Hair and the Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla Leave-In Conditioner.

The product ingredients are almost entirely all-natural. Of course there is the odd product ingredients that needs to be used to preserve the life of the product. However, the natural ingredients far outweigh any of those ingredients by far. There are so many beautifully combined natural ingredients that are combined in just the right consistency to leave your hair feeling soft, manageable and clean.

According to Sephora.com, The Rosemary Mint Herbal Shampoo contains the following:

Blends of lavender, rosemary, sage and nettle combined with organic oils like olive oil, coconut oil and conditioning sea moss and rosemary.

There are no parabens, petro-chemicals, synthetic dyes, sulfates, synthetically added fragrances, GMO's, triclosans, or phthalates. It's a wonderfully natural hair that works extremely well on dry hair that's damaged and needs extra manageability.

The Black Vanilla Leave-in Conditioner detangles the hair beautifully without leaving your hair feeling heavy to the touch. No complaints with this product. I love it. The comb glides right through. If you're looking for an all-natural leave-in conditioner that defines your curls this is a great product.

My only complaint really about the products is that on their website they fail to list the product ingredients. This is a major downfall especially for those customers and potential customers who have allergies to certain ingredients. I'm sure this probably does hurt sales because people then have to then go that extra mile to call or email to find out what the ingredients are and if they are safe.

Also those individuals who just want that extra bit of confidence knowing that they are purchasing an all-natural product also want reassurance.

Overall, Carol's Daughter products are the perfect addition to your hair product repertoire. I totally give it 5 stars! I highly recommend these products for anyone with tight curly hair textures. These are also great for biracial hair textures as well.
